The prevalence of allergic diseases such as hay fever, allergic rhinitis, and atopic dermatitis has increased significantly in recent decades, creating a growing need for effective methods to reduce exposure to allergens in everyday environments. Common allergens, including pollen, dust mites, pet dander, and mold-related proteins, can trigger immune responses that lead to inflammation and other allergic symptoms. While conventional treatments primarily focus on relieving symptoms, preventing contact with allergens through their removal or inactivation offers a more proactive solution. To address this challenge, Toagosei developed AlleRemove™️ ZTP-170, a novel organic-inorganic composite anti-allergen additive designed to combine strong allergen inactivation with excellent water resistance, low discoloration, durability, and safety. This paper presents the development, characteristics, performance, and potential applications of AlleRemove™️ ZTP-170, highlighting its ability to effectively neutralize common allergens while maintaining long-term functionality in textiles, filters, household products, and other everyday materials.
